Abhay Dalmia

Abhay Dalmia, VP of Engineering, leads Nerdy's engineering teams across Consumer, Institutional, and Infrastructure, driving the company's AI-powered product strategy and execution. He is responsible for building high-performing, AI-enabled engineering organizations that deliver scalable, reliable, and customer-centric solutions aligned tightly with business outcomes. Abhay joins Nerdy from Amazon, where he spent six years leading product and engineering teams of more than 50 engineers focused on fulfillment-enabling software. His work spanned associate experience improvements, operational efficiency across trailer and labor planning systems, and quality defect reduction throughout Amazon's supply chain. Prior to Amazon, Abhay was a software engineer at Google, where he contributed to the development of Google Cloud Filestore, a petabyte-scale NAS solution designed for high-performance computing workloads. At Nerdy, Abhay is focused on recruiting exceptional technical talent, fostering a culture of ownership and craftsmanship, and ensuring engineering execution directly accelerates company strategy.
