Mike Hunigan

Mike Hunigan serves as VP of AI at Nerdy, where he is responsible for developing new AI-first initiatives that will transform how the company delivers educational experiences. In this role, Mike leads the strategic development and implementation of cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions designed to enhance learning outcomes and create innovative educational products. Prior to joining Nerdy, Mike spent nearly six years at Capacity, where he progressed through multiple leadership roles including SVP of Product, AI and VP of Product. During his tenure, Mike played a key role in the company's rapid expansion while leading the development of AI-powered automation solutions for customer support. Before joining Capacity, Mike served as VP of Product & Design at Answers, where he led product development and design initiatives. Throughout his career, Mike has specialized in leveraging technology to solve complex problems and improve user experiences, with particular expertise in AI product development, user experience design, and product management. Mike is based in the Greater St. Louis area.
